Record of Oral Language: 2007 edition (ROL)

Assesses oral language development, including a child's ability to handle grammatical structures.

Can record and assess change in children's oral language development over time.  Can be used to group children for specific teaching.

Administration times vary between approximately 5 to 15 minutes, depending on the responses of the child. Suggested procedures are given in the manual.

You need to thoroughly read the manual, and some practice in administering tests and recording responses before using is advisable.

Some 'guidelines for action' are provided in the manual.
